1. Information Stored Locally (On Your Device Only)

Kidzo stores the following data locally on your device using Hive (encrypted local storage). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties:

• Learning Progress: Letters and numbers learned, quiz scores, achievements
• Game Data: Level completion, stars earned, high scores
• App Settings: Audio preferences, dark mode, language selection
• Virtual Currency: Coins earned by playing games, gems purchased via In-App Purchase
• Currency Exchange: Users can convert Coins to Gems and Gems to Coins within the app

Note: This data is entirely under your control. You can delete it at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling the application.

2. Information Processed by Third-Party Services

While Kidzo itself does not collect or store the following information, certain third-party services integrated into the app may process it:

• Advertising ID: Used by Google AdMob for ad delivery and measurement
• Device Information: Device type, model, and operating system (processed by AdMob)
• IP Address: Approximate location for ad relevance (processed by AdMob)
• App Version: Used for compatibility and ad optimization (processed by AdMob)
• Purchase Information: Transaction data processed by Google Play Billing only

Important: Kidzo itself does not access, collect, or store any of this information. It is processed and controlled entirely by the respective third-party service providers.

How Purchases Work

• All payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing
• We never receive, collect, or store your credit card information, bank details, or any payment credentials
• All payment data is handled entirely by Google and is not shared with Kidzo
• Purchase transactions are securely managed by Google Play Billing. The app may locally store purchase status only to unlock premium content and restore eligible purchases

What Google Collects During Purchase

Google Play Billing may process the following information, governed by Google's Privacy Policy:

• Google Account: Account identifier for transaction processing
• Purchase Token: Unique token to verify and fulfill transactions
• Transaction Information: Product ID, price, purchase date, and order ID
• Payment Method Metadata: Last 4 digits, card type, and expiry (not shared with Kidzo)
• Country/Region: Billing country for regulatory compliance

Important: Kidzo does not have access to any of this billing information. It is controlled entirely by Google.

Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play Store according to its refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

Local Data Usage

Information stored on your device is used to:

Ad-Free Experience: Users can purchase Gems through Google Play (In-App Purchase), then spend Gems within the app to activate an ad-free subscription (e.g., 30 days). No separate Google Play subscription is created — ad removal is managed entirely within the app.

Data Deletion

Kidzo does not store user data on its own servers. You can permanently remove all locally stored data by:

• Clear App Data: Settings → Apps → Kidzo → Storage → Clear Data
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently
